The Dress

This is an absolutely stunning dress which was a joy to wear and I am sad to be parting with, but sadly I don’t have the space to house it anymore.

Miranda is a hand beaded slip dress with handmade tassel detail. Across the whole dress are rows of alternating glass beads sequins which sparkle and really make a statement. The dramatic low back and contrasting beads on the straps bring an edge to the dress. The ladies at Eliza Jane Howell kindly added a loop to the underside of the train so that you can tie it up to the clasp at the back with a bit of ribbon, perfect for evening dancing!

Condition -
The dress has been dry cleaned and boxed by Bentley Garment Care, London at a cost of £185. They have done a phenomenal job and the dress looks like new. On the train there are some beads missing, please see photos. When wearing the dress this is not noticeable. Photo 6 also shows a line of beads that are missing in the train. Again this is not very noticeable but this could be repaired. In photos 6&7 you will see that there are some holes in the train of the dress. Once more, although these are not obvious when wearing the dress, they could easily be repaired.

Along with the boxed dress, you will receive the Eliza Jane Howell dress bag and hanger. Please nb, the hanger only has one of the buttons. I have also included in the box some loose beads.

Alterations

This is a size 8 off the peg which has been altered around the waist and bust. I also had it taken up at the front.

Nb I am currently about an inch wider all over but the dress still fits so there is give in the dress.
