This is a stunning piece from Melbourne's famed Gwendolynne. This dress was from her Deco collection. It is champagne coloured silk which gives it a glow. There is incredible beading detail shown in the clasp across the back of the neck and beading detail around the waist and sides of the hips.
The dress is an off the shelf size 10 with no modifications made to size, helping it to be reliably a size 10.
I have held onto it hoping I could pass it down to a daughter, but I had 3 sons instead! I'm hoping this can be a family heirloom for someone else to treasure.
