The Dress

I fell in love with the Laguna dress from Winnie Couture, but wanted to add an overskirt/train for the ceremony to surprise my husband with a new look after we took our "first look" pictures pre-ceremony. The base Laguna dress, though form-fitting, was easy to move in and I was able to dance and sit comfortably. The overskirt, though initially displaying a subtle weight on the hanger (approximately 6.5lbs), effortlessly distributes when worn. I felt like the train added an element of sophistication for the ceremony.

If a overskirt/train isn't your thing, the fabric possibilities extend beyond the ceremony aisle. There's enough fabric to create a second dress, fashion a shawl or cape, make pillowcases, a table runner, custom baby clothes or a baptismal gown.

The dress has been dry cleaned and will be shipped in an heirloom pak wedding gown box with a display panel on the front.

Alterations

A lovely $100 belt was added on for a little bling; the seamstress also added hook and eyes around the waist of the dress to hold the overskirt/train.
