The Dress

The whimsical fairytale dress of your dreams! This gorgeous, custom-made Dovita Couture Isabella dress comes with a jaw-dropping overskirt that will blow your mind (pictures don't do it justice!).

I couldn't decide which Dovita dress I liked more, so I combined the Isabella with the bodice of the Dovita Verona, and the skirt of the Dovita Lavanda (take a look at their website for more info!). This means that you can have a totally one-of-a-kind couture dress for your wedding. I love how it becomes a completely different dress without the detachable overskirt – you could have a totally different reception look!

I am AU street size 10 but with wider hips, and this dress was custom made for my sizing, so there is not official size for this dress. The body measurements are accurate, and there is no stretch in the fabric.

I only tried it on in the store once for about 15 minutes. It is in pristine condition.

The dress is ivory with a sand-coloured underlay.

There are two reasons I am selling this dress.

1 – I was very specific about the customisations I wanted on the main dress. While this dress is still objectively beautiful and clearly made to a really high quality, it's not what I ordered, and it felt like the way they put the dress together simply didn't suit me. I think you want to feel incredible on your wedding day so I decided to find something that suited my body type better.

2 – My fiance and I are eloping abroad, and I worry about taking such a big dress on the plane with me, and having to travel with it afterward. I've decided on a simpler option! Physically it's not an uncomfortable dress to wear, but it is heavy, so something to keep in mind!

I am open to selling the dress and overskirt separately, please message me for pricing. I am also more than happy to share additional photos, or have a chat on the phone to put your mind at ease. Wedding planning is stressful enough (which is why I stopped doing it!), and I want to make sure that this dress goes to a good home, but also that the bride who buys it, is happy :)
